Typical timeline
Order to number plate
Indicative durations from live orders. Sourcing a rare trim adds time at the front; the rest rarely moves.
Days 1 – 3
Specification and quote
You give us make, model, year, trim and budget. We come back with dealership options and a written all-in landed cost, duty and delivery included.
Days 3 – 10
Sourcing and verification
We locate the car, confirm a clean title, pull the independent history report and obtain the dealership invoice. You receive the VIN at this stage.
Days 10 – 14
Inspection and loading
Independent inspection at the lot with a dated photo set, then the vehicle is booked onto a vessel.
Weeks 3 – 8
Ocean freight
RoRo or container from a US port to Lagos or Onne, insured for the full crossing, with updates as it moves.
Days 3 – 10 after berth
Duty and clearing
Our licensed agents handle documentation, duty assessment and clearing at the port.
On release
Inspection, balance, delivery
You inspect the car in person. Only when you are satisfied does the 60% fall due, then we support registration and deliver.

What people ask before paying a deposit
You have not paid the balance yet, which is the entire point of the structure. If the vehicle does not match the specification and documentation you approved, you are not obliged to complete. We resolve it, or we do not take your balance.
Before we purchase, yes. Once we have bought your specific car from a dealership the deposit is committed to that vehicle, which is exactly why we do not buy until you have approved the written quote.
The landed cost covers purchase, freight, marine insurance, duty, clearing and delivery. It is written down before you commit, so there is no arrival surprise.
Either. You or a person you nominate can inspect the vehicle on arrival. Many clients bring their own mechanic, which we encourage.
That is the normal case rather than the exception. We source to order, so we search dealership inventory until we find your specification rather than offering a substitute.
